The Planning Inspectorate have dismissed our appeal citing impact on the local landscape as their primary reason.
We haven’t yet decided on our next course of action but watch this space for updates.
Dale had this to say:
"Naturally we're very disappointed. How are we ever going to fight climate change if we can’t build turbines in places not designated areas of natural beauty? This decision makes a mockery of Government policy which is now setting a target for renewables at 40% by 2020. If the Government doesn’t get to grips with the planning system this will never be reached. It would be easier for us to get permission to build a nuclear power station! It's a ridiculous situation."
