Ecotricity and Julian Clothier invite you to Shooters Bottom Farm to get up close and personal with Somerset’s first and only wind turbine.

Climate change is widely acknowledged as the greatest environmental threat facing the world today. Over 30% of the UK’s carbon emissions come from the generation of conventional electricity. So, the single most important thing we can do to fight global warming is change where our electricity comes from.

Wind power has a crucial role to play in a sustainable future for the UK. We are at the start of a second industrial revolution – a Renewables Revolution.

We hope that this single turbine will be the first of many in Somerset. Come and actually see a modern windmill for yourself - and try and hear it! Our Shooters Bottom Wind Park is a great demonstration of what the future holds.
